The honest reason we don’t list specific plans here

A dental insurance plan from any major carrier can have wildly different coverage depending on which group purchased it, what tier the patient elected, and what year of the calendar you are in. A list of carriers on a webpage can be more misleading than helpful — you may see your insurance company’s name and assume one thing, when the reality for your particular plan is something quite different.

Our front office can usually verify your specific benefits in less than ten minutes by phone, before your first visit, so there are no surprises. We’d rather have a real conversation than publish a list that may not apply to you.

How to find out what your plan covers

  1. Call us at (925) 999-9088 — have your insurance card handy.
  2. Our front office calls your insurance, verifies your benefits, and walks you through what is covered and what your out-of-pocket would be.
  3. For larger treatment plans, we’ll submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance so you have a binding answer about cost before scheduling.

In-network and out-of-network

We participate as a preferred provider with most major PPO networks. When we are out-of-network with your specific plan, that doesn’t necessarily mean it costs you more — many PPO plans reimburse 70–90% of out-of-network covered procedures. We file your claim either way and help you receive any reimbursement available.

What about Medi-Cal / DHMOs?

We are not a Medi-Cal or DHMO provider. If your plan is one of these, please call us and we’ll happily refer you to colleagues in the Tri-Valley who participate in those networks.

Financing if insurance falls short

For treatment that isn’t covered or for the portion you owe out of pocket, we offer CareCredit, Sunbit, and in-house monthly payment arrangements. HSA and FSA accounts are welcome. More on financing →
