Our commitment

Dublin Ranch Dental is committed to ensuring that our website (dublinranchdental.com) and our physical office at 3704 Dublin Blvd are accessible to people with disabilities, including patients with visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and speech disabilities. We are guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA Title III), and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Conformance status

This website is designed and tested to conform with the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA, the federal accessibility standard for healthcare provider websites under ADA Title III. The federal compliance deadline of 11 May 2026 has been met. Conformance is reviewed at least annually, with the most recent review completed in May 2026.

Key technical conformance measures include:

  • Color contrast — primary text against background measures 14.34:1 (well above the 4.5:1 WCAG AA minimum and the 7:1 AAA minimum).
  • Keyboard navigation — every interactive element is reachable and operable via keyboard alone, with a visible 3px gold focus indicator and no keyboard traps (WCAG 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.4.7, 2.4.13).
  • Skip-to-content link — a hidden-until-focused link at the top of every page lets keyboard users bypass repetitive navigation (WCAG 2.4.1).
  • Single H1 per page with semantic heading hierarchy (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.6).
  • Alt text on every meaningful image; decorative images use alt="" (WCAG 1.1.1).
  • Form labels and ARIA — every form input has an associated <label>; required fields are marked with aria-required; submission status is announced via role="status" with aria-live="polite" (WCAG 1.3.1, 3.3.2, 4.1.2, 4.1.3).
  • Minimum 24x24px target size for interactive controls on touch (WCAG 2.5.8, new in 2.2).
  • Prefers-reduced-motion respected — all parallax, marquee, and Ken Burns animations disable for users who set this preference (WCAG 2.3.3).
  • Reflow — layout works at 320px width and at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling (WCAG 1.4.10).
  • Semantic HTML5 with proper landmarks (header, nav, main, aside, footer) for screen-reader navigation (WCAG 1.3.1).
  • Language declared on each page via lang="en" (WCAG 3.1.1).
  • Page titles unique and descriptive (WCAG 2.4.2).
  • No content that flashes more than three times per second (WCAG 2.3.1).
  • No automatic media playback or auto-advancing content (WCAG 2.2.2).

Testing methodology

Conformance is verified through a combination of:

  • Automated testing with axe DevTools, WAVE, and Lighthouse Accessibility.
  • Manual keyboard-only navigation of every page and interaction.
  • Screen-reader testing using NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS.
  • Color-contrast verification using mathematically computed luminance ratios.
  • Annual review of all new content added between releases.

  • Accessible restroom
  • Operatory chairs that can be reached from a wheelchair
  • Large-print intake forms available on request
  • Patient companion welcome at every appointment

Our team speaks English, Hindi, and Gujarati. Translation services for additional languages are available on request.
